HANDLING AND STORAGE OF HYDROGEN PEROXIDE

STORAGE AREA

High concentrations of hydrogen peroxide are more stable than dilute ones. However, heavy metals such as iron, manganese, copper or heavy metal compounds cause sudden decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. Therefore, containers or storage tanks in which Hydrogen Peroxide is placed must be protected against any contamination.

PACKAGING MATERIALS

PE and PVC drum.

INCOMPATIBILITIES

Avoid interference wih organic chemicals and compounds, cyanides, flammable materials such as wood, paper, iron and other heavy metals, metal and metal salts, copper and copper alloys, flammable liquids, aniline, nitromethane, alcohols, acetone, caustic.

APPLICATION FIELDS

  • It can be used in different percentages according to application field

  • Mining Industry

  • Metallurgical Industry

  • Cosmetics Industry

  • Pharmaceutical Industry

  • Food Packaging Industry

  • Waste Water Treatment Sector

  • Textile Industry

  • Paper Production Sector

Some application areas of hydrogen peroxide are as above

TRANSPORTATION

Observe state and local environmental regulations as they relate to transportation. Proper sealing and leak proof containers should be used to prevent possible leakages. Stainless or inner PE and PVC bins. 65 kg polyethylene (PE) bag in drum. Also shipped in IBC tanks and bulk.
